It is a three-tier architecture (also known as a multi-tier architecture), with three or more interacting tiers, each with its own specific responsibilities as briefed below, Tier 1: The client known a "Thin Client" controls the user input validation. Tier 2: The middle tier known as "Application Server" facilitates the business processes logic and the data access. Tier 3: The known as "Data Server" provides the business data. Objective To ease the entire process involving the HR activities in an organization.
